It possesses a strong regional identity and offers an authentic historical and cultural heritage, picturesque coastal villages (Collioure, Port-Vendres,…), many seaside resorts (Le Racou, Argeles-sur-Mer,…) and numerous festivals throughout the year. It has colour and passion ! The area is officially proclaimed to have more than 300 days of sunshine a year.
